for those of you who don't know, he wrote the acclaimed Redwall books (young adult fantasy I guess?). I read (and owned, actually) all of them as a kid, and I have fond memories of them, even if they did a get a bit formulaic.
![]() this happened earlier this month, btw, but I wasn't aware of it, and nobody else made a topic about it.

I've heard it as Mat-thi-us with emphasis on the "thi".
Redwall was an excellent series. My favorite was Martin the Warrior. =/ Damn this kind of sucks.

ive not actually heard of that guy or those books. not my forte really.
but the other day i read in the Times that "the brigadier" character from the Dr Who episodes with John Pertwee had died. and only a few weeks before that the english pete Postelthwaite guy who was in the bernard cornwell Sharpe tv adaptations and various other movies including inception had also died. omfg y u pepol die tho? still, at least he left an imprint on the literary world. but makes me wonder what will become of others including terry pratchett as all i hear now is the progress of his mental illness. |
