The Heroes Generation

((Crap! Uh this is Screenfox. I accidentally posted this on my sisters profile. She is gonna be pissed.))
Years ago a man discovered a way to change the DNA of a human in numerous magnificent ways. The method can only be implanted into its patient before they are born. His first human test was on his unborn twins. The two boys had a normal birth. They grew up in a less than normal environment. They grew up in a strange facility surrounded by handlers and scientists. It was not a normal childhood. They developed their powers and matured them. Both of their minds matured too. They started to see things differently. Then suddenly one of the brothers decided he needed to become more then he was. He killed everyone in the facility. When his brother tried to protect their father the insane power hungry boy killed him too and stole his strength.

Years have passed since then and you somehow you have also started to develop powers. You don’t know how, you don’t know why, but suddenly you can do extraordinary things. On the street we get passed by millions of people who are completely normal and have no idea such people like us exist. Some of us relish the gift; others just try to go on like normal as if they were no different than the people pass on the street. But we are different. We will have to use our abilities because, soon, our worlds will change more then we can ever imagine. The storm is coming.

Plot: We are all people who have gained super powers. Soon we will all meet up. When that happens, our lives will all change dramatically. Someone had to have given us the treatment when we were still yet to be born. Without us even knowing, something is happening to those of us with powers. We will have to fight it to the end.

Setting: This is pretty much modern day. This takes place on Earth. We will start out in New York. This is in the fall. This is not a Heroes the TV show RP. I guess it is similar, but it is not the same.

Name: David Volinski
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Personality: He is a bit of a dark man, but he is very brave, strong, and protective. He is a good man to rely on.
Appearance:
Powers: His body is full of concentrated radioactivity. He can focus this radiation into beams, rays, and explosions.
Weaknesses: The radioactivity is extremely unstable. He has to use these bizarre metal gauntlets to control it. The gauntlets have spinning gyros on the back of the hands and small light gauge which measures the power of the concentrated radioactivity.
History: He was born in Russia. He grew up with only his father. He never knew he was different until one important day. He was out hunting with his father when it happened. His hands started to glow with a bright red. Then his eyes and his mouth started to glow. Suddenly everything went red then white then black. When he woke his father was laying dad on the ground. He sat there with him and cried. Then they came. Secret Russian soldiers came in on dark helicopters and took him away.

After that he grew up in a white facility (Not the same one from the intro). There his abilities were tested and used. They wanted to make an ultimate weapon out of him. He was practically a walking talking nuke in their eyes. They developed his weapons. They suited him out with these gauntlets. Soon when they were testing his powers and trying to harness them he used all the power he could muster to destroy the facility and escape.

After he got out he wandered around in the snow, not knowing where he was. He was picked up by a man thickly clothed. He helped him. Again, all went dark. When he awake he was on a plane for America. Then he was 17. He came to New York and grew up. He found that when he got there he had his gauntlets and other needs. He grew up there, away from the hell he swore to never return to.

Quiet some years later. He met another like himself. This one has the power of extreme intelligence and the ability to locate and detect other people with abilities. He has a big apartment studio that he shares with this guy. He has been tracking down others and trying to save them from the unknown power trying to kill them all.

Name: Patrick Ford
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Personality: Patrick is intense. That is about the only word that fits him. He takes anything he does seriously, and disapproves of others ignorance of anything. He is highly intelligent and is arrogant enough to consider himself close to a God.
Appearance: He is a tall man, with jet black hair and misty blue eyes. He keeps his hair short and professional looking. He generally wears jeans and a T-shirt, wearing a Trench coat if it's cold outside.
Powers: Patrick can manipulate energy. He cannot create, nor destroy it, as energy cannot be created or destroyed, but he can use it as he pleases. He has only been able to fire Kinetic energy in short bursts, after saving it up as potential. He realizes that it's energy though, and that opens up tons of opportunities in his eyes.
Weaknesses: He can't use his power without saving up potential energy, so he has to sleep a lot, or he is powerless.
History: Patrick is from New York, he has lived there all his life. He discovered his powers when he woke up one morning, and he was burning with energy, literally burning. He released it, never really sure what he was doing; but it seemed natural,and his house exploded. He remained unharmed and ran and hid in the sewers, knowing that people would want to know what happened. Through the help of some underground types, he formed a new identity and began a new life. He was fifteen when this happened, and he still has nightmares.
Other: Patrick's power is still highly undeveloped. He has yet to learn how to control any other form of energy, such as heat or light, and doesn't really know how to control it. His mastery can grow though, to the point where he can absorb energy from surrounding objects, such as draining the kinetic energy from a bullet, so that he is suddenly faster and the bullet falls to the ground.

((I do hope that this is alright, I didn't want to overpower him, but the possibilities are endless with this. I can develop his power throughout the RP, right?))

Gender: male
Personality: sol doesn't talk much but he likes jokes and he somehow is behind you without you knowing. but he is a great strategist and individual fighter.

Power: he can manipulate fire in any of its forms.
Weakness: his power is weaker at night. The moon absorbs his manipulated flames after a while.
History: sol grew up in south africa. He discovered his powers at seventeen when his girlfriend was being abused by her father and he went into a fit of rage burning him and attacking him wildly and kicking him out of the house and then he ran away into the brush. He walked up to her and she rejected him and ran away he was alone. So he began walking to Johhanasburg. Then he was attacked by south african secret soldiers that came in the night when he was sleeping in a shack on the side of the road. he then grew up in a south african facility.

They saw the ability to protect and expand thier borders with his power and began to train and study him, he didn't like that. As it turned out his girlfriend was working in this facility and helped him escape at the cost of her own life. For when they escaped to the docks she was killed in a literal firefight.

He then took a fishing job that could take him up as far as sierra leone, and from there he took a plane to new york. He swore he would avenge her death. He then met some others like him and began to start attacking the strange powers that wished to destroy them.

((Haha I guess I just never start Andromeda, and Brit, Mission to Hell died long ago. Let it go, mate. Accepted, but I'm a little confused about your power Jav. And Brit, I think if it was less effective at night, it might make more sense. I would think the sun would help your flames stay stronger then under the moon because of heat.))

((Well, at the moment he can rest and store energy, and when he needs to he can fire it. At it's current stage it's simply a beam of power that has a high destructive power. In further stages he will be able to use stored energy to enhance senses and physical abilities, and in the final stage he will be able to use external energy sources to do that, having an almost limtless power source during the day. I don't think that he should hit that stage during the RP any time soon though... Does it make a little more sense now?))

Name: Alex
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Personality: She is sort of haunted, kinda broken inside, but she likes other people so she can get along. She is not very confident in herself.
Appearance: She has long black hair which is kinda messy. She wears a dark hoodie and skinny blue jeans. She has a beautiful soft face and smooth curvaceous body which is unfortunately mostly hidden by her untidy hair and big hoodie.
Powers: She has the power of Nightmares as she understands it. With this power she is able to see into peoples imaginations and blend them. She can then pull this blends out into the real world and change the environment and even herself.
Weaknesses: Only works when around people who think or cannot keep her out. Also doesn't work quiet as well when hit by sunlight.
History: She realized she had powers when she was young. In her childhood home in Virginia. When she would have nightmares which was often she would wake up surrounded by dark horrifying creatures who were some how familiar and, after some time, comforting to her. One night after a really bad nightmare she woke screaming and was greeted by her beasts. Two familiar ones. They are somewhat like shadowy serpents with yellow lights along either side of their heads. Their mouths are lined with sharp pointed teeth. Her parents came in and saw the two beasts. The next day the two of them decided to leave Alex behind as they packed all their things and simply left.

Alex grew up all alone. Taking on whatever job she could to make money and using her powers to steal what she needed. As she grew she moved up North to New York. She lives in a small Manhattan apartment with a black cat named mosey.
