Meh I still see no use for it.

9x faster doesn't mean much if the original was slow as crap.
Also I need the specs of it.

So far they say it uses a dual core A5 CPU and they don't tell what model, speed, cache or anything about it.

Also there is no info on the GPU.

My guess is that it will be overpriced as usual with installments of more storage space costing hundreds of dollars.

9x faster from what I read was the graphic render not the CPU speed (which is twice as fast).

All companies are doing this on purpose. Their first design was probably the Ipad2. In order to make optimal profit, they downgraded this design to the Ipad1.
Then blah blah blah...
