But personally, I'm more looking forward to the HBO series at the moment.
Only 11 more days to the first airing. Haaaappy times!

I Read up to book three. I don't think book four was out at the time.

But it's been so long that I would have to reread everything to understand the story.

I might put that off until the series is really finished.

im currently reading the first book after the last thread started about the hbo series and im in love with it, cant wait for the show.

I really didn't like Eragon. particularly the part where his guardian dies which is painfully obviously ripped off from Star Wars. the rest of the book was bad too, but that really stood out for me.

you should read A Song of Ice and Fire instead. :]
