Walking through what seemed to be a desert, Dzi finally arrived to the location given to him. It was sand cave that seemed to have been around for a very long time. He looked back behind him and barely made out three small figures, watching him. It was night time, so the brief blowing of the wind onto their cloths made it possible to see where they were. Must be Raynye's men, he thought to himself. He slowly walked inside, taking measures incase he saw the professor. What he came to see though was just a small bed, acouple pots and pans, and a small fire with what seemed to be rodents roasting. When he took a few more steps inward, he heard the voice of an old man saying "Who is in here!?" He turned around and saw an old man, around the age of 60-70, with ice crystals forming around him. He stared into the eyes of Dzi and dispersed his cystals. "Ahh just a child" he said warmly, limping his way into his camp. "Another survivor I suppose?" he asked as he layed some more rodents down next to the fire. "Yea, I guess you can say that" Dzi responded. "You must be hungry then. Come and eat" the old man said as he waved Dzi over. Dzi walked over and took a seat next to him. I might as well get some information form him before I kill him. "The name is Frindle. I used to be one of the Ice professors at the Academy." "How have you survived so far old man" Dzi asked him. "I heard word of attacks from the enemy from the nearby towns." "Well even though I am old, I can still keep up with you youngins. Right now though, I dont think I could do much. Constant attacks has made me fatigued." he said as he sighed in disbelief. "I wanted to help out those survivors near Kat's Creek. I heard there is a small bunch holding out, out there. When I rest up, I am hoping to go and help them." He laughed alittle and gave out a few coughs. "I dont know how much longer I could hold out though."
Dzi got up from his seat and walked over to the wall with some half burnt paintings posted. Dzi knew he had to continue his job, or he will die. This was the right thing to do.... right? He thought to himself. This is the only path I can take. Dzi turned around and looked into the old man's eyes. The man gave him a hardy look. He saw the chip lump in the back of Dzi's neck. "You must be strong" he said to Dzi in a kind voice. "Yes I am" Dzi responded. "I did all I can, and there is no way I could beat you the way I am now" Findle said still smiling. "I dont know what they did to you, but I hope you find your way back home". For some reason that last sentence made Dzi very angry. "You dont know anything old man!!!" In a rage Dzi summoned tornadoes to destroy the place. The tornadoes, in turn with the sand, created a huge sand storm which swiped up the old man in its path. Dzi turned around, as the tornadoes continued, and made his way back to the base, knowing that he might lose his life for he did not get the man's head.
