Azzeriah stopped twirling and looked around closing her eyes and concentrating on her other senses. There was something off about the balance, she could feel it. She subconsiously took a step forward and felt something crack lightly underneath her foot, she opened her eyes and looked down. Her mouth fell open in horror and she couldn't scream. She just couldn't.
"Oh my god!" she murmured between her hand and turned to run but there was another cold, rotting corpse. How she couldn't have smelled it before she didn't know but she was scared.
She grabbed her duffel bag and shot up the stairs, tripping over herself until she reached the top and she ran into the wall with a soft thud. She didn't dare look around her so she slid down the wall and curled up, she closed her eyes and blocked out everything. Even the stench of death had left. Fear overroad everything in the empty academy. She draped her black floor length cape around her body and thought about her life before this.
