The desert was hot and dry, I was sitting in the shade covered by rocks and a few home made tents and other kinds of shelters. Occasionally I could hear the maveric air crafts flying around somewhere out there for who knows what. I once had an encounter with the maverics that got me ended up with an old car and supplies. I took out an old piece of dusted paper and some burnt wood. As I started to draw I felt the ground shaking and heard something in the distance. I put down the paper and charcoal and started to climb the rocks. With the high ground to his advantage he saw just what was going on. It was a desert skrimish between an unknown faction and the Maverics. For the time being I observed the fighting and watched them from afar. From what I was observing the unknown faction was losing for the time being and started to fallback. "I hope they don't come my way" I said to myself as I watched them fight it out. The enemy of the maverics started to fall back into my direction as the maverics started to advance in the same way. I climbed down the cliffside and climbed up to my machine. I fired it up and waited til I was in range for my weapons. Their vehicles as well as explosions and armed fire was heard and seen coming closer. I locked and loaded the ancient technology and soon open fired. At first I shot warning shots, until a rocket from a maveric vehicle flew by me. I took aim and started to open fire on the vehicles. They were pretty weak compared to a heavy machine gun and steel bolts. Their vehicles were disabled or destroyed and the unknown faction started to move in for the kill. They used mainly melee weapons and old firearms. After the battle was over I made my way to the people. I Got out and yelled "Who are you people and why are the maverics chasing you. This is my land and home. Explain yourselves or get out."
