I used to hate him when he first got famous but now I'm okay with him. People are probably just jealous of all the fame, money, and girls he has or can get

"hating because he has X and we are jelous" is kind of dumb
Then we all are jelous of Nickelback, Soulja Boy and etc. terrible artist. Bieber is terrible, deal with it.

I actually like him. His songs are catchy, he has a pretty good voice, the story of his rise to stardom is interesting, and he seems like a pretty humble guy. Hopefully he doesn't grow up into a self-absorbed douche.

Nothing wrong with that per say but it shows how the standard of quality in mainstream music is degenerating.

I never watched the movie, but I think it's cool that he was discovered when a studio exec accidentally clicked one of his youtube videos that his mom uploaded. Also that he was raised by a single mom, and that he loved music and taught himself to play instruments.

I think people like stories about unassuming children who become superstars suddenly, rather than stories about people pushed and groomed by their parents to be something they don't want to.
