it's sad tho, that's the way the action genre works, for a momment you see people like ukitake seemingly countering ceros, and shunsui being as fast as a "primera espada" or even as powerful as to imply ukitake telling shunsui just not to release his bankai at this time (implying how obsenely powerful said bankai could be)
and in the next panel, a guy with down syndrome punches a whole thru one and then both of them gets shot down
