its probably because im playing low res, 1440 900
vertical sync locks it at flat 60s

ok good becuase I have an 8800gt too.
I was getting around 50 FPS with 1680x1050 and everything maxed with vsync.
If I took off Vsync it would go way up though. Also with Vsync on I can OC my card to knock it up to 60 fps, but I don't really see the need to.
