He denied and told them to keep the prisoners under restraint. Also to keep them safe. he thought he heard footsteps besides the nurses leaving but when the door to his office closed he heard screams and saw blood flying on the door. He worries, then reaches for his Tazer Baton. He gets ready to swing but when he opens the door nothing is there. He left the office and walked to the restrained cells. He called out to any surviving inmates.
