The best thing they could do with Cena right now, to keep things fresh, is turn him heel. He was champ for two years. Yes, he's dedicated. Yes, he rakes in the cash. It just makes me wonder how often Vince can hear the crowd massively boo him each and every time and still think he is what the fans want. The problem with The Miz is that he has the capacity and charisma to win matches cleanly. They're putting him over as this champ that can't win fairly, and thus, not much of a champ. They had a slew of people who could've been champ; Wade Barrett, Sheamus (Still), Punk, Orton. They won't have it, though. They should also narrow it down to one belt. Quote:
Nobody deserves to be put over Taker at Wrestlemania. Taker would be forever tainted by someone who'll probably be forgotten a year later, and it wouldn't help Cena's career at all. It would be one of the most stupid decisions. I have no clue who he'll face at Wrestlemania 28, but I think Cena should face The Rock. Wrestlemania 28 will be in Miami, so I hear. The Rock's hometown, no better place. If they want to really make Taker's final Wrestlemania an epic one, they'd bring Sting in for the Royal Rumble. Have the final two be like, Taker and someone they're pushing and then let him appear from the rafters and cause Taker to get eliminated. That sets the stage for the angle of, "Oh! He cost Taker what might be his last shot at a title." This would build a feud for Wrestlemania. The long lasting icons of both legendary companies. Sting would lose, but then he could just go on to be a main eventer at WWE for one last run as a champ before HE retires and Taker gets to retire with his streak. Of course, they won't do that, but Taker will definitely retire as 20-0. Last edited by Norrin Radd; 04-04-2011 at 04:53 PM. |
