Eh thats where I draw the line. I don't that anyone needs to join a church to feel closeness. To me it comes off as more of a support group than anything else when you put it like that. Almost like saying I can't handle certain things so I need a set of beliefs to follow... an excuse?

But bah, whatever your decision is... it's your decision. I would think long and hard before converting to a religion though. When my uncle converted from Catholicism to Mormonism his dad, my grandpa, wouldnt even talk to him anymore. It also didnt help that he had tried to convert my family too.

The only thing I despised was that one of my cousins held her wedding at the Mormon church and they wouldn't allow my family in cause we were not mormon. Bunch of damn bullshit if you ask me.
