Oh alright lol, and sorry it took me a while to answer I was busy doing something and going to sleep right after this post.
Anyways, to tell you the complete truth, its all about willing to change. If you smoke, and drink, and have sex and all that stuff which I am sure you know what I am talking about. We do support laws(Rules for some people to understand it) against those things but we do not judge anyone. As long as you are willing to change any leader of the church will be happy to help you out. Those are pretty much one of the main questions they will ask you before you ever get baptized(join). Just simply knowing how... Pure you are I guess would be the word.
I myself have alot of friends and families(From and not from the church) that smoke. Because in the end, its not always about religion... It's just the people out there, what they need help with and what they want to do with their lives. They are still people like you and me, why not give them all a chance, everyone deserves as many chances as needed.
Sandman: You are referring to the Temple. The temple is a sacred place, and only members are allowed to go in since they know the laws(rules) and basically how you are suppose to act and what type of person you should be.
We don't know if the person would be pure enough to be allowed in the Temple. No it is not racist or any type of criticism as it applies to everyone.
Example: As in for me, I will not step inside the Temple for a VERY long time. Why? I do not think I am pure enough at the moment to be allowed in there. Did any leader told me that? No, I just know what and how it should be and as a result I take the action myself. I've been there before many times when I was young, but now my life has changed. And I am doing other things now. As I said, I'll take full responsability of what I will become in the future.
