But also, America, for example, has no medieval history. So they have to make games out of something else. (Unless they want to make Independence War Online, Civil War Online, or Gettysberg Online). China, on the other hand, is rich with historical stuff, real and fiction.
It's not about 'stupid eastern know only how to make Orient games', but it's also about what kind of background/resources/history they have. Not to mention they're quite proud of their history. To me, it makes sense for them to make what they know best.

Canada, the US, Central & South America are rich with history, real & fictional, we just need to get the stories from the people who were here first: the Aboriginals.
Hell, even the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Australia, India, and Russia have a rich history, real & fictional, but yet no one is making games for any of those either...just tonnes of Asian MMOs, which are just usually cookie cutter to each other and getting really repetative.
