But all that doesn't matter because saying "this guy will use this weapon" in NO WAY makes that weapon more original. Team Fortress 2 still use very generic weapons.

I'd also like you to tell me at what point HAVE mentioned it had classes. You can clearly see gameplay footage of the soldier-esque character using a minigun. In case you haven't noticed, you don't run faster with the bat. The guy with the grenade launcher and one eye isn't supposed to be a black Scotsman, it's supposed to be a evil, psychotic robot. Please look at him a little harder. There's more to him then just a missing eye. Believe it or not, the "soldier" in HAVE and the soldier from Team Fortress 2 are both based off of SOLDIERS. You know why they both have a large metal hat and a rocket launcher? Because soldiers wear armor and carry weapons. Both games just took that idea and characterized it as something that's hard to take seriously. That's how all the classes in Team Fortress 2 were created, believe it or not. No, the "HEAD SHOT" text doesn't remind me me of the "CRITICAL HIT" sign from Team Fortress 2. You know what it does remind me of? That annoying voice from Quake 3 that shouts "HEAD SHOT" every time you hit someone in the head. The only reason that text is there is to make you feel proud of yourself for pulling of a difficult shot. The reason the text in Team Fortress 2 is there is to tell you that your shot did more damage then usual. And since HAVE has the text appear on the HUD and Team Fortress 2 has it appear in the middle of the air, the only thing both these features have in common is that they both appear right after you head shot someone. That's not a resemblance. The only thing HAVE has "borrowed" from Team Fortress 2 is the grenade design. That's it. Sure, Team Fortress 2 most likely inspired parts of the game, but only retards would start screaming "RIPOFF" because of that.

The only features that the robot has with the demoman is that they both use a grenade launcher and they both have 1 eye. If you say it's a rip-off because of that then you are ignoring everything else about those characters. The demoman is a drunk, black, Scotsman. Does that show in the robot? No. Again, look at the robot's design. He has metal bolts going through his face, a teeth pattern on the bottom of his face and an elongated red eye. All of that is there to try and give the impression that the robot is evil. So let's recap, we have a crazy black Scotsman and a psychotic robot. But hey! They both have 1 eye so they must be the same!
Whatever, you can keep lying to yourself, I'm tired of arguing to a brick wall.

EDIT: ok more constructive response, I understand what you're trying to say. But how can you deny the points I mentioned? It's not a 100% RIP-OFF ofc, but they have borrowed some elements from TF2, you can't deny that. Don't bring enemy territory into this, the graphics/pace/feel of the game is completely different, where as these 2 are much more similar. Take a look at what silence086 said. It's like me telling you a stop sign is red and you're saying it's not because there is some white on it. They took ideas, changed it a tiny bit, and slapped it into a 3rd person shooter. Regarding the scout, they could have used ANY melee weapon, they chose an aluminum bat, they decided to give it the double jump ability, is this a coincidence? They even went as far as giving the soldier a jump. I realize that the demoman isn't the exact same, but do you think it's just a coincidence that they decided to give it one eye? Probably not, they saw the tf2 demo and decided to give their demoman one eye too. That's all I'm saying.

Being a little more specific

Can the soldier rocket jump? Does the covert ops get a bolt action sniper rifle that makes the same sound as the tf2 sniper? When you headshot is there a big green message slapped at your screen? Is there a guy who shoots pipe bombs out and has one eye? Is there a class that has an aluminum bat that can double jump? Is it red vs blu? Seriously, they're nothing similar.

HAVE Online and TF2 are similar. They share the characteristics I mentioned.
