Instead of NPCing my unused equips (except things that are purple colored because I'm convinced they're good for something), I've been taking them to Roton to turn into cubes >.<

You can do the Eye of Dragonman quest from Sharon to get white cubes + clear cubes.
You can do the piece of weightless item from Roton to get (2 colored cubes) + clear cubes.
