Well, I went back to Trickster Online. I play in full screen, always have, never had a problem. But now, it goes full screen, but it's got black bars on the side. Kind of like widescreen, but I've got full screen checked. Then I get a pop up saying "blahblah your screen resolution 1366x768" or something like that. Whatever. I've also had this problem with The Elder Scrolls IV...it would play in full screen fine, and then it just decided to get the black bars on the side...it's not ruining the game for me or anything, I just can't get rid of them. It's like full screen turned into wide screen for me. Ugh. lol

You should have an option when you rightclick your desktop to go into your GPUs settings.
For nvidia that option would be 'nvidia control panel' and you can change the black bar settings under 'adjust desktop size and position'. The black bars are caused by the 'do not scale option'. Pick another one I never had an ATI card, so I can't say how you would need to do that there. It shouldn't be much different though.

I would assume you have an ATI card, because I always had black bars when reformatting my PC and reinstalling drivers for my card.
Either way, the fix is written here. http://www.hack7mc.com/2010/05/ati-g...lack-bars.html |
