I've just pieced together a whole bunch of parts. and i just needed some input from you guys to know if it'll all work and compatible.

Another thing is do i have to buy all the cable and what not to piece it together or should they all come ready with the components?

Anyway here it is, let me know what you think or of any improvements or complications with anything. Thanks for your time!

No complications, but room for a lot of improvements AND savings.

There's no real need for 8GBs of RAM.
The i5 2500k crushes nearly every other CPU out now, including the i7 950.
GTX580 has a rough 20% more performance than the HD6970. There's no need for 2GB of RAM on a GPU yet.
Cheaper motherboard.
Cheaper case and the case is one of the top dogs out on the case market.
500w PSU from a decent brand should be enough for nearly every rig that only has 1 GPU.
1TB HDD, storage device, we've saved nearly 1000GBP so the room for it is there.
120GB HDD SSD, for OS and heavy applications you use every day. (the rest is for the 1TB HDD) You could save 90GBP if you'd pick the 80GB one. (I'm a 'storage space whore' so that's why I picked the 120GB one)

If anyone would like me to build a rig, I'd prefer it to be in a thread in the tech section rather than PM. Thank you.

That's awesome thanks Bunzz, just two more questions you might know the answer too. Would this rig run FFXIV with relative ease on max settings OR EVE on max settings?? annnnnd do you know if i would need to buy all the cabling for the components for inside the case or should it all come with it? thanks man <3

That rig would run FFXIV with relative ease and it'll rape Eve on max.

I quite forgot the numbers, but large fleet fights will mostly be server sided lag, so no matter your rig, you can do little to nothing about it.

You should get all the cabling with the parts, so you even might have a surplus after you finished your build.
