More importantly than buying diamonds - you can buy cash shop stuff with Phirus Tokens - which are items you get from doing your daily quests.

They're both above average F2P games and you can't really go wrong playing either, I enjoy RoM a bit more, but I have nothing against 4Story and territory wars are pretty fun.

In 4Story, just make sure you're an archer and stay far far away from the mage.

In Runes of Magic, it's the exact opposite.
