((OOC: Sorry I took so long to post. D: ))
Niola stared with dazed eyes up at the sky, not really paying attention to what beauty it held at the current time. Instead, her mind was juggling various thoughts within it, trying to sort out a possible option she could use at the moment. It was obvious that Niola could not leave such a frighteningly powerful, young man like Sanguis alone with her friends. Sighing and putting a hand to her forehead, she decided she would check out the group around the fire when day broke. Instead, Niola tilted her head towards Sanguis and watched silently as he locked his vision upon the moon and stars surrounding it. If anytime was good to ask of his motives, now was the chance.
"So, are you sure you know nothing about this?" Niola nearly murmured, her voice soft and almost inaudible. Realizing that her question had been spoken louder in her head than outloud, as though she had been afraid that he would respond in a nasy way, Niola tried again. "Er...You seem rather strong. Do you normally come acoss guys like him?"
However, her voice shattered like crystalline glass against his mute demeanor. His attention wasn't focused upon her, but something else. Niola soon figured out just what was bothering her, and it revealed itself as clear as day. Like clockwork, both eyes of Sanguil transformed into a violet hue, a mystical cycle that halted immediately at the point it began. Unfortunately, the strange occurance did not stop there, for Sanguis suddenly collapsed to his knees and started breathing in heavy, unsteady strides. Not sure what to do, Niola placed a shaky hand on his back, hoping to bring some comfort.
"Is this a daily attack, or is it uncommon for you?" Niola asked, knowing anyone who was able to bear that much pain without fainting or screaming uncontrollably must be used to it. "How long do these attacks normally last? Are you going to be alright? It doesn't get worse...does it?"
For once in her life, Niola felt utterly useless. After all, an audience member can't interfere with a play, just like a viewer can't enter the scenery of a painting. The laws and boundaries separating the two "worlds" prevented either of them from crossing each other's "world". Still, Niola never questioned such things before until now. Here at the academy, a bridge led her away from the isolated world she had inhabited for years, and she didn't want to see the people in front of her crumble. Her heart had started moving again, just like Cyr's, and Niola felt certain that Sanguis's heart would someday melt the ice that encloses it now.
"Sanguis, hold in there. Please..."
Just then, Cyr appeared before them after dropping from the window that led to the room the others were in. A smile appeared on her face as she spotted him, yet the news he brought wasn't that exciting. He had just recovered from a dangerous poison that left him in critical condition for awhile now, and he wanted to fight? Hoping Cyr did not see the frown that appeared momentarily on her lips, Niola raced over to him as she pointed to Sanguis.
"Cyr, Sanguis is hurting from something!" Niola exclaimed before realizing that she just announced his name. "I think I should get him to the room, but if he are leaving now -- We should at least have someone stay behind, or at least wait a bit. Besides...are you REALLY alright with doing this? You're still not fully recovered..."
