At least in here we're having a discussion. When we go off-topic in the screenshot thread it's almost always because people have something they want to talk about. "INB4LOCK" is not a discussion. Hell, it's not even a fully-formed idea.

People always say Inb4lock when a thread is clearly going to get closed, yes its spam but does it really effect anyone? Unless your somekind of twat that thinks Post Count is a way of showing how awesome you are and people are 'cheating' to get it... You could argue that when people say lol/10chars is spam but it would be a complete outrage if they were infracted for that. There needs to be a point were the rules don't need to be enforced (and this is a prime example) because they would do more damage then solve it.

I agree that rules shouldn't be forced to a T, but when people say that a thread is going to get locked, they don't have a reason to do so. If people go off topic in here, it's alright because there's a conversation that people want. When people say "INB4LOCK" it's just as pointless as when people say "First". Giving people an infraction over it may be a bit much, but they don't have any reason to be posting such a useless comment in the first place. If someone is spamming for the sake of spamming then I feel they deserve whatever they have coming to them.
