Now in the case the cop went way over the line. He knew that this girl was no threat to anyone, he knew the situation and decided to use something that was unnecessary. This type of force should be used on uncooperative LAW BREAKERS. Running from the cops, at least in this situation, does not make your a criminal. The cop didnt feel like going after her so he said screw it I am just going to tazer her instead. Now most of the time I do feel that in tazer incidents i read that the cop had other options but the tazer could be justified.
In the situation the cop was just lazy and resorted to a means of force that is just completely wrong. Thats like saying its ok for parents to tazer their children when they dont know what else to do.

Well yea that i somewhat true, but the law states:IF a a police officer tells you to stop, and you do not, after a warning he is authorized to use force.Maybe he did overreact a bit,but i wouldnt blame him, blame the girl for not stopping.Being a cop is a dangerous and stressful job you can never be too careful.I know that teens also do pull out guns and stuff on officers. On the other hand i dont think the tazer is rlly capable of going thru the skull i think they are just lying or something.Ive seen ppl get shot by a tazer it just like attaches to their skin.Im not sure though.
