Well, you know, part of a Let's Play is basically catching the attention of viewers via mic. Giving them an introduction, views of a place, what you think about it, etc etc.
Saying random things does count technically...
And you can only use FRAPS with OpenGL/D3D/DirectX applications. I use Camtasia Studio for some ZSNES Let's Play (which are deleted from my profile) and it works fine. I get abit of lag on my end, but that's it.
