I try to avoid putting myself in a position where it can be said I'm 'stuffing words into someone's mouth', but I can't stand people who contradict themselves with the idea of peace, so I went ahead and followed his line of reasoning simply and directly. Assuming less people dieing = good, more people dieing = bad, it's basically what he was saying. He seems to be one of those types of people who thinks everything can be solved peacefully, even if the ideas he presents are contradictory and solve nothing. It's hard to take seriously.

Like, come on now, did anyone actually read this? This was his response to me saying "I guess we should have let Hitler stick around too, since it's wrong to kill. We should have all just dropped our weapons, gave him the world, and allowed him to throw anyone he deemed unworthy into an oven." He says "the fact that people think killing people is the best solution toward solving problems" and so you're really left with no options other than surrender when we're talkin WW2 or any other situation that cannot be solved without violence. And so he goes ahead and says..

Besides there being no solution and a dash of useless hindsight, he straight up says Hitlers death caused more deaths than he himself has. If you really just meant this as how many people he has personally shot in the head, then okay, maybe you don't think things would have been better with Hitler around, even if you would have done nothing to stop him and he would have risen to power anyways.

Even that's incredibly stupid, I guess it doesn't count when he gives someone else a command to kill, which totally makes him less responsible for millions of deaths, right.

By the way I'm not trying to be a master d'bater here, I'm calling shit as I see it. Guess I can lose some rep for poor quality debating anyways.

You're saying we should just take the hit from terrorism and do nothing about it, let them know it's okay to kill whoever they want in the world. He ****ed with us, made our country grieve, and has caused terror far beyond our own nation. Even in the end he wouldn't surrender.

Who the **** cares if we celebrate victory over the death of an enemy, it should be something to feel good about. He had no right to continue living and needed to face death by any means necessary. Anyone who intentionally takes even one life that didn't deserve to be taken away has no right to continue living themselves, and we should feel good about getting rid of these kinds of people, ESPECIALLY in this case.

I am curious just why THIS IS BAD. What's gunna happen from celebrating killing our enemy? WHAT'S bad?

Might as well live in the Middle East, bout the same form of justice, eye for an eye. No idea why we even have a justice system.
