Skype is great.

My phone bill, unlimited internet + unlimited texting, and limited calls (500 minutes) = 60$ a month. then I just get skype calling, and that makes it 63$! Where as all my friends, with unlimited everything are often upward 75 - 100$.

500 minutes wouldn't last me a day, last month my total clocked hours of phone time was upwards 140 hours..

It doesn't, but Skype also offers calls to landlines and mobile phones at cost. There is also a premium service offering multi-user video conferencing and other features.

According to http://www.google.com/finance?client=ob&q=NASDAQ:MSFT, it appears the value of each stock decreased by about 60 cents for purchasing Skype.

It's still worth over 25 dollars per stock.

Remember when Youtube sold for 1.65 billion to Google? I thought that was a good trade back then, but now I'm thinking it was a big steal.

Skype for 8 billion sounds like a fair trade. Youtube should have sold for 10 billion back then. If Youtube was sold today maybe 20-25 billion.
