As I am close to finishing high school, I have started to think about my future.
I was thinking about being a Network Engineer because it has good pay and
has to do with IT work. I feel that I would not be bored of this job because
I will be constantly learning.

Does anyone have any insight on this? I hear that it is extremely hard to find
a job in this field as a graduate.

I would recommend talking to someone with experience in this field.

Call someone up and ask if they have time for a short interview.

This is the mature, practical way of doing it. 100x better than asking on a gaming forum.

My cousin just graduating from network Engineering, He got a job from an internet provider here (Rogers). And it was boring as hell.

Choose what you like to do, don't select the job depend by salary..
