In America you only bother going to court for these kinds of things to get points reduced but the cost usually ends up staying the same. Since you didn't get any points, don't bother going to court and just pay it.

I don't remember my insurance costs ever increasing when I got my first and only speeding ticket.

It's going to be alot easier and less of a hassle for you to just pay it and because you aren't losing any points it should be even more of an incentive to do it.
