Name: Ken 'Sparks' Whittmore
Age: 23
Bio: Sparks grew up just outside of DC in what used to be Manassas Park, VA. His parents were always busy trying to provide a stable life for Sparks and his sister, which left Sparks with a lot of free time to explore the ruins of Manassas. When he was 6 he found among the rumble a Zippo lighter and soon figured out how to make a flame with it. It was at that moment that Sparks discovered his life long love affair with fire.

When he was 17 a Brotherhood Vanguard started to sweep the area Manassas Park and unknowingly stumbled upon the Whittmore family garden. The Brotherhood troopers had not seen fresh produce since they left the West Coast chapter and were awe struck at what they believed was naturally growing from the nuke infested soil. They had started to pick samples of the vegetables when Sparks came out of a near by building demanding them to leave and brandishing a grenade to enforce his point. The Paladin among the group removed his helmet and raised his hands to let Sparks know he was not a threat and approached him. The Paladin explained the situation that was going on in the DC area and asked Sparks if he wanted to follow them back to Outpost. With the blessing of his parents Sparks left his family behind to join the Brotherhood of Steel, taking only the clothes on his back and his Zippo lighter.

At 20 Sparks was officially welcomed into the Brotherhood and was given his Power Armor. For 2 years he acted as Flamer specialist in Ghoul raiding parties and was selected to help field test captured Enclave Heavy Incinerators. It was turning one such field test that his Heavy Incinerator's fuel line cracked, spraying flaming lighter fuel all over a Recruit in Training and a decorated Paladin. The field report claimed the event was caused by careless handling and reckless and unwarranted use. Not given a chance to defend himself Sparks was banished from the Brotherhood. Sparks knew of the Outcasts of Fort Independence and decided to see if he could find a home among them as he had once in the Brotherhood of Steel, yet again starting a journey with nothing but the clothes on his back and his Zippo lighter.

Appearance: 6ft 4in with dirty blond hair and pale-ish skin. He has random burn scars on his body from years spent playing with fire. The Zippo flame is painted on his armor's shoulder plates.
