A lot of people are blind to the idea that playing video games is a hobby.. You could be out playing sports, or building models. They are all hobbies that you utilize to spend your time doing something you enjoy.

When you stop doing regular things such as eating or sleeping, your addicted. But playing for hours at a time, while still feeding yourself and getting some sleep is in the realm of a hobby.
