I'm currently working on a space MMORPG in Flash.
After a somewhat successful open pre-alpha period I've decided to go on with the project.
Also I've decided to keep the server open if anyone else wants to check it out at http://zerogame.us

Suggestion:

Add the ability to move on mouse-hold. I would rather hold down the left mouse button and have the ship follow my cursor rather than have to click every second to move.

Sigh... This game is so old that I won't be able to find it.
If this is your passion, then you're best off making a Subspace Continuum mod and private server. Easier to hype and program. I don't even see it. Playing games like the ones in that link I posted make you forget the low-spec 2D shooters.

Ok it's frustrating when all of your google searches bring you to your own posts from several years ago. Does no one... Play that game? It was like Dark Orbit but about 10 years old. And it wasn't Star Trek. Lol Netrek! That's a bit older than I was looking for. *blink* It was actually viable though. Never even heard of Project Starfighter. LOL it's on Xbox? Never heard of Spheres of Chaos either; but not what I'm looking for.

Ook. There is no list of online SHMUPs. Maybe in three years I'll be googling and find this thread. Sorry, I have failed as a pre-alpha tester. It has got to be on the favorites list on my Pentium 1, but that thing takes forever to plug-up and boot. I think... It can wait.
