It was good in concept until people started realizing they simply did not have the room for it. The 360 for example with the Kinect requires you to stand 8 feet away from the TV for it to work properly or in the case of the wii, those with a smaller TV would have a hard time getting to work properly.

That's what I'm afraid of for me graphics don't mean s#it. Look at all the crap movies with cool graphics that came out but failed. One of the main reasons I held off on getting a PS3 till last year was because some many of the games from mainstream companies didn't look that good. I'm hoping now that indy developers can get games out in the PS store we will see more innovation and more games that focus on game play more than graphics. Meh, I loved 3D when I was a kid. Now when I see it I think it's neat but that big of a deal. I'm wondering when they will start using holograms more and when would they start using virtual realty. But 3D is a good start.

To be honest, I really don't mind companies getting hacked. This way you can see that where-ever you store your information ( No matter how much they brag about their security ) it can be hacked. So pretty much go sue Sony.

How good or bad Motion Control is depends on how it is implemented.
Ever play Sin and Punishment 2 with a Wii Mote? I have the game and nothing beats using the Wiimote for it (plus it's pretty badass being able to control your character with the analog stick and aiming the reticle at the same time.) In games likes Wii sports resort it's also pretty accurate. I haven't had trouble hitting the targets in archery or with table tennis. Motion control is not a bad concept, it just hasn't been given a good exhibition of its' potential. There are some games that would be perfectly adaptable with the Wiimote control scheme. I would love to see an console FPS game with motion control. Also Terraria IMO would be a lot better to play with one (NTS - Look into that). Basically, aiming in general would be vastly improved with it. I like playing with a controller, doesn't mean it's the best thing ever for everything. A lot of what you guys are saying is exactly the same thing people said about touched based games and now there are plenty of them that are fun, innovative and popular. People always complain about new technology for a long time until they start mainlining it and then it's "not as bad as I thought". Same story, different day. People just are not ready. Next thing you know, AR is going to be implemented into gaming and people are going to be saying the same ole crap about it.

Some games if I'm online it doesn't matter as much, but others it can be a drag to have the delay from my router =P
