Talking Sci Fi MMO - AWO - ProtoScreens...comments please

Hi all,

Im not here to tell you about the game, just to show you a few test with prototype with our models, i do know some of the texturing needs alot of work so these are WIP's at the moment but please tell me what you think so far.

looks great, although Ancient World Online looks to be like a bit of a strange name for a SciFi game. But then, that's just me.

Nice Id like to be the first to Beta test it(You can say im a proffcinal at that) lol Ive beta tested 20 other games includeing all of the ones on this fourm and ive played all the rest(exsept golf games) lol SO yeah im An Expert Beta Tester

I really like the desert render one, looks mad nice, almost like a CS:S map/Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones map. The in-game gfx of the character and that wolf looks superb too. The only thing is that you need some better textures instead of a repeating one all around, but you already said that, so... This looks mad nice, hope it's successful!

Looks like a mix of realmcrafter and pictures from a 3D modeller.

Yesh there from realmcrafter and the desert render from 3ds max 8.

We will be using RC2 as its a upgrade of RC1 new rendering engine from Directx7 to 9 and new shaders support, and effects such as bloom etc.


RC2 isnt out yet so RC1 is being used to prototype (hence the title name protoscreens) Just to show the community were hard at work on content. Also our hyperion sector on Planet Kaydor is nearly done so you may expect to see a test client com out shortly allowing players to connect to one of 6 of our servers and chat and socialize and maybe a small bit of PVP according to how fast the team reach the next 3 milestones.
