Default wdf??!!

alright i'm makin this new sig and i start putting some C4D's on a new layer and then i set to dodge and i'm like wdf??!! coz the C4D is only showing up within the render or smudged area and i didn't do selection to path or nething,ne1 kno why it's doing this?

Well i dont know about other people but i dont create a new layer, it creates a new layer for you. So all you have to do is put in the C4D on and put it on the setting that u want ( in this case dodge) some C4D's are effects so they mite be different.

yea but if don't add a new layer and just set the C4D's on the layer wit da render and set it to dodge then render is super bright X.X and b4 i when i was makin the sig i was setting the C4D's like they were supposta(but then my comp crashed) i'm not shure if i did sumtin wrong or not.........

o well,i'ma start the sig over from scratch

The reason y it might be bright is because of the setting maybe? I sometimes use color dodge, linear dodge, screen, and softlight. It may depend on the setting or the actual C4D

Well the render is really bright and the C4D is really dark (or vise versa) Then the contrasting could cause that I think...
