Default Capture Card

I was wondering how good this capture card is?

Would it work for recording games playing on Wii? Or is it too cheap to waste cash on?

Output is DVD or DVD-image only.

I'd recommend something with a HDD to make things easier. :/

Probably. Any specific suggestions maybe? I don't really know what to look at and all those descriptions confuse me

I'd imagine it would be fine, just use another program to capture the feed from it. I never used the one that came with mine since it was crap anyway. Just some programs either have a delay which makes it annoying to play games using the capture software while recording or not. Or the capture card may have problems with that.
If i could remember the name of this one program that was great for that i'd let you know i can't think of the name right off hand...
Haven't used my capture card in awhile(Dunno if the delay problems still exist bit old anyway, mine didn't have that problem). But use S-video if you can, will look better.

I'd make sure you can return it though incase it's crap.

I only got scart to connect my Wii with TV.

I lost my HD cable for the big TV so I am playing on the older one which only has 1 input.

EDIT: Are those HDTV cables on ebay who are below 10$ actually going to work? Or are they just a gimmick and no different from scart?

Forgot to word it correctly, but i don't own that same capture card(Since reading it to me kinda seemed like i did somewhat, didn't want to give the wrong impression). Actually have a PCI card from some company i forgot the name of. Incase what i posted confused you as to whether i had the same capture hardware as the one you posted. Still stand by what i said though.

As for Scart i have no idea, never used those things. No idea quality wise how it would work or connections.
I used some universal cable i got from gamestop/ebgames for 10$, that worked fine for my ps2 when i bought one a few years ago. (Has RGB and S-video,and connections for most consoles). Also worked fine on my big screen with the wii when i bought it.
