I have the very same card as you on my old PC.

Apparently, Radeon 9250 is very gimped in term of compatibility for most games. It should have enough juce to match Nvidea 6 or 7 series but they didn't put as much effort into making it a good card as it should be, hence it why the cheap price I got for it. The driver download for it was also discontinued and they stop trying to update it, it's really a gimped card now. >.<

Anyway, grab an Nvidea 6/7 series if you want to run most MMORPG out there. For resource hog games, stick with series 8 and 9, preferably a 8800 GT or GTX or a 9800 GT/GTX. Both SHOULD be able to be obtained for less than 150 bucks if you really go hunt for it, the series 8 should range around 80-120 bucks.

Go to start menu and under Search or Run, Type in DxDiag for me, save the log and paste it here. I might be able to help you that way by seeing the rig you're running.
