Z0mg, how/what kind of food is available there?
I have a food texture problem, so i can't do pastas, rice, soup, and other things kind of like that.
Other than that, i think this would be kind of a fun experience!

Everyone country has it's own original food but we live in a global economy now and that means most countries offer foods from all different places.

Sounds good but, how will you communicate with the family for the first month or so, when neither of you know eachothers language.

It does sound iffy, but it could be very legit.
