I watched the first episode of Itsuka tenma and was a little disappointed. The animation is good and all, but something about how they're telling the story turns me off.

Scrapped Princess looks a little light hearted,but I'll give the first few episodes a chance before I judge it entirely.

@Ozaphel

The only one there that I'd be relatively interested in would be Elfen Lied. Thanks for reminding me of that one, I completely forgot. As for the others.. they're unrelated to what I asked.

Thanks for the input, though.

Baccano, Ergo Proxy, Witch Hunter Robin, Wolf's Rain (if you're into that kind of thing), Jin-Roh (it's a movie), Serial Experiments Lain.

@Vesper
Serial Experiments Lain looks incredible. That's one I can't wait to see!
Thanks!

@Bakaro
I was thinking of watching Mushishi before but had doubts about it. I'll take another look at it, thanks for reminding me of it. I'm into anything that isn't Sci-Fi to be honest. Don't know why, but I just never liked anything that was even relatively science fiction.
I'll take a look at the others as well.
Thanks c:

Serial Experiments Lain is one f*cked up and slow series. Highly recommendable if you like this kind of genre.
Midori Shoujo Tsubaki still makes it look like nothing though.

How about Higurashi or Umineko No Naku Koro Ni?

Higurashi has more friendship elements and 'happy' moments while Umineko is more serious and 'playful'.
You'll understand when you watched it. :o

If anyone would like me to build a rig, I'd prefer it to be in a thread in the tech section rather than PM. Thank you.

Have you seen Baccano and Ergo Proxy? I thought they were both brilliantly made.

If you haven't, I seriously recommend checking them out.

Sorry if it seems I'm plugging these too much, but they are both my favorite anime.
