It's a psychological thriller. I found it was a seriously haunting and mind fiddling anime. Only 13 episodes and it just blew me away.
The guy who created it died not long ago. I've heard that it isn't very popular because it basically criticises Otaku culture and everything with it, though I'm not sure if that's the complete reason. Could also be because it's quite complicated and left very open and unexplained. |

I understood it after I was reading some forum posts on MAL, I just watched it a few days ago and I actually didn't really like it much, I was hoping for something different I guess.

yeah it's strange. I remember watching back on Adult Swim. I dunno which I found more odd, Paranoia Agent or Paprika.
