So i googled the Longest time gone without blinking, and i was already skeptical because Guiness didnt have this in their record books, but Cha Cha claims a man named Fister McAllistar of Scotland went 62 days 2 hours and 56 minutes without blinking. Is there any other proof, and am i the only one who say this is complete and utter bullshit? Who sleeps with their eyes open for 62 days, wakes up and doesnt blink/ rub their eyes. And im sure is eyes would like dry out, and/or go blind, because i heard not blinking is what causes bad eye sight.

I haven't slept for ten days.
Because that would be way too long. Seriously, though, there are people who just naturally don't blink a lot. Most people blink every couple of seconds, but there are those who only blink every couple of minutes. |

As far as I know for this issue, the blinking is good because your body lubricates your eyes which is protecting the eyes from infection, which can have long lasting damaging effect on your eyes(said that in the previous comment).
Looking at a monitor for more than one or two hour is bad and that is way it's suggested by the doctors to go out in nature to relax your eyes and also refresh your ions, because staring at the monitor is making negative ions(or something like that). That's why it's suggested to do breaks from the computers for about 1-3 hours.
