Celebrities + Marines

(PEOPLE.com) -- It may have started as a bet, but Sgt. Scott Moore's YouTube video will end with a famous date.
Mila Kunis agreed to accompany Moore to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18 in Greenville, North Carolina, after he posted a YouTube video asking the actress to be his date.
Turns out Moore made the video as the result of a bet with a fellow Marine.
"I always thought I had a chance, and sometimes that's all you need," Moore says.
The Marine also thanked Justin Timberlake for telling his "Friends with Benefits" costar about the video and encouraging her to accept.
"JT and I had this all planned from the start," Moore joked. "He's been a great wingman."
Moore, who's currently in Musa Qal'eh, Afghanistan, serving his second combat deployment, now has a lot to look forward to when his tour ends.

Move over, Mila Kunis.
By now you’ve heard that the "Friends With Benefits" star has agreed to accompany Marine Corps Sgt. Scott Moore to the Marine Corps Ball in Washington on November 18.
Well, now another Marine is getting in on the act. Corporal Kelsey De Santis posted this video asking Kunis' co-star Justin Timberlake to the same event. There’s even a Facebook fan page.
