Just wondering what was the status on it, I remember seeing it a while back then no new episodes and I believe I read somewhere in manga it started again or summin.

Is it worth watching? : 3

Basicly dragonball z, but then about food. Instead of screaming 'AHHHH' for more then half of the episode, they scream 'UMAAAAAAAAAAAAI' and start talking about different flavors blablabla. If you start watching now, you'll see there;s no difference. Gave it up after this weeks episode 16 xD

basicaly one piece ... but with different story and plot ... guy goes in search for his perfect food ... for his perfect food menu ... he is insanely strong like luffy no wonder ... and he has many friends that aid him when he needs it ... he is the legendary Toriko oh god soo similar that idk why one piece creators created it to be like One piece ... oh i wonder

ON other note it wasn't bad i watched it from the begining kind of liked it but just because i love one piece i think ^^

Its not like OP imo at least

not based on the two mangas though I doubt the anime could differ that much but yeh...I know what its about I just wanted to know if it sucked or not.

oh yes it is like OP and too similar to OP ... but hey what do i get for explaining this to someone ? who has his own opinion then hey have ur own opinion on that it sucks or not ...

For me it doesn't suck like most of the animes out there ...

i actually like toriko, i have read every chapter of the manga ( so far) the anime is only going to cover the 1st bit i think its estimated to have 18 episodes this season

it kind of reminds me of the food hunter guys (cant remember the real name) from hunter x hunter

also its cool to see torikos partner komatsu striving to be a better chef and going on all these crazy adventures with toriko and people who can use "knocking" to subdue the monsters without killing them (like jiro) and all the different groups that have their own goals

i suggest you guys read the manga (give it a serious shot aka you get past the regal mammoth/GT robo arc thats covered in the anime) i don't think you will regret it
