Well, I have played Tibia for over 6 years but it was now ruined by CipSoft. Therefore, I am looking for some MMO with as much freedom as possible and where your PvP acts can affect the entire community (like Tibia).

Just to give an example of what I am looking for...

In the good times of Tibia, there were just a few restrictions about PvP. Basically, you could kill anyone at any time and at any place. The restrictions were just a few. Your actions on the game had deep influence on the community and therefore it was a dynamic game. You could simply start to PK everyone with your friends and then, you would suffer the consequences from the community. Also, if you had no skill at all, you would simply die by players beneath your level. Another unique thing was that if you ended up dying by monsters or by players, you would lose a considerable amount of experience and eventually you would also lose items. Therefore, PvP wars and fights were REALLY important. Not this arena restriction-pvp-thing.

I don't really care about graphics so you can suggest games from 2D to 3D.

Does anyone know of a game like that? I know this might be some very specific thread, but you can suggest games that are close to that. The only MMORPG I ever played was tibia, so I basically don't know many games of this kind.

My friends and I are waiting patiently for replies on this thread.

In a completely different style than tibia you can try eve online. Little restrictions on pvp, getting killed can set you back weeks.

Well this is the FREE MMORPG Section, so that game is kinda outta the way, I'm looking for the game i used to play, there were servers you can make a character on and it was a PVP world, ill get back to u on that, but EVE Online is a P2P game ur looking for a F2P game right?

EDIT: Ok so I did a little looking around, and correct me if I'm wrong, but Allods and Perfect world have open world PvP Servers

I have played both of the games, but I didn't like them so much, but you might, I never tried their PvP though.

Also, i found some game called Shadowbane, i don't know much about it, all i know is it has Open world PvP and its a point-and-click game :/ you could check it out

Well, I am looking for preferably a F2P game, but I wouldn't mind to pay in case the game had the characteristics I said.

I read on this section that games like Darkfall and Lineage II could fit into what I am looking for. What do you guys have to say about them?

Well I have not personally played them, but they do look very interesting, I would give them both a try if i were you, choose which one YOU like, and if you don't like either, you can always come back and ask for more suggestions

i would highly recommend darkfall, just because of the full loot and pvp anywhere as well as clan citys being sort of important so sieging is still active and all that jazz, i also recommend Mortal online, something i wouldnt have done a few months back but the expansion has fixed a lot of things and improved the game a lot.

I tried Darkfall with some friends and found some annoying things. The first thing is that it seems the game is nearly dead, with not many people online.

The UI is also kinda annoying.

I will take a look on Mortal online, thanks.
