Had my PC set up and all for the first boot, but when I turned it on it (PSU) sparked inside and blew an egg sized puff of smoke.
So that is RMAing right now and all, but I was just curious....What are the chances that I'm going to get the new PSU and other components are now dead due to this awesome event? Cheers, Garb |

The chances will always be pretty big I'm afraid.

Well if it helps, when i built my last pc my PSU did the same thing after about a bit over a month. But all my parts were fine(Aside from the PSU of course...). Maybe i just got lucky though. Could just go somewhere and pick up a PSU, just to make sure that's all that went out. Then just return it once you know..

Thats fine and dandy, just needed to figure out if I need to save some money from this paycheck for more RMAs for the other parts.
