So when I play Maplestory at some point all the keys are getting ****ed up. ESC minimizes the game, I can't write anything at all, Enter changes resolution all of a sudden and etc. But I still can use assigned hotkeys for skills and stuff to keep playing.

Now when I exit the game it's the same. I can't write anything at all anywhere. Clicking links instead just takes me to the page but instantly downloads the .html file of it and so on.

So I want to know if there is some hidden combination that changes something or am I infected with a virus or spyware?

Maplestory still has that gameguard right? If so mind telling us which antivirus you are using?

Perhaps your function keys are getting stuck somehow, but that seems unlikely that it only would occur when you start MS.

I'd do a scan either way if you haven't done so recently.

I installed a W7 yesterday so I am getting an AV only now. Will do a scan.

It has never happened to me before too.

Shift, Alt, A, D, V are the possible keys used in some sort of a combination. That is if there is any at all.

Do you have another keyboard at your disposal? Try hooking that up.

Yes. Both keyboards act the same and I've found nothing like my case on forums. Also the fact that when I previously played Maplestory I didn't have this problem.

I don't see another option than gameguard toying with the input signals.
Maybe you should try, well... hack MS so that it won't run gameguard.

The official gameguard fixes are pointless most of the time and waiting for a fix or reply from Nexon support will take a few days that you probably would want to utilize. ><
