Hmmm. Posting game ideas is an interesting idea, but we get a lot of those already, and most of them aren't really that well thought out (Game Dev Classifieds). I'm happy to do it, but I dunno what the prize would be really.
I'd be happy to hold some sort of contest, the prize being hosting for the game on the forums; I'm sure we could do that. The only problem I can think of is that there wouldn't be enough applicants. Most people who frequent here can't really make games... maybe we can have a Game Maker thing going down? That's pretty simple to use, and could attract some people...
You know what; I like this idea. Maybe we could combine your guys' two ideas into one; the idea for a relatively simple game posted first, voted on, then another group of applicants makes it in Game Maker, or some other equally simple game making suite, or if they really want to, a real language?
