Developer test phase now for partners... still have a few stages to go before retail.

And yes there is. Windows 8 is to sync the OS on all platforms, PC, smartphones and tablets etc.

By making it overly compatible with other things, they're just distancing themselves from people who don't want that junk and use a PC.

I didn't think Windows phone was doing all that well...imo Android is still mopping the floor with their OS.

You can still use the Windows 7 desktop style in Win8

Also, android is mopping everyone, but that doesn't mean they're the best

I love my Zune Pass and Windows phone

they should just made this addon for window 7 not make whole new OS for it

I like it, it feels like a refined version of Windows 7. The interface is very clean and easy to use. Plus, its fast!
