I guess its because of the way my friends who were with me at the time asked the question. It was certainly a lot less polite than the way I did it, and thats how I heard myself saying it in my head so I had to make it clear

And I don't think they're local. My town has like 200 people in it after the tourist season ends (which it has) and I know all of them. Theres only like 5 black dudes, everyone else is super Italian or as white as the snow.

It has nothing to do with fishing at all.
It has everything to do when certain asians decide to travel.

Maybe they were sold a cheap package because the normal season was over?
Maybe there is a holiday from their home country allowing them to travel more freely at that time?
Maybe ask one of them why they are vacationing in the fall instead of the summer?
