I loved dead island even though it gave me countless bipolar episodes. Id be intrested to see a film. Problem is the zombie genre indeed has been milked endlessly. Even as a horror fan. Im facepalming at the unoriginal crap being shelled out these days. Last good zombie film to me was REC.
But who knows they might suprise us. But I doubt it. Ill prolly just wait for REC 3. ![]() Quote:

Am I the only person in the world that saw the trailer for Dead Island for what it really was and not what tecland was expecting people to see: A CGI trailer that had absolutely nothing to do with the game, and because of it went into Dead Island expecting it to not be the trailer? I'm starting to think so when everyone in the world who complains about dead island starts with, "Oh the trailer was awesome but why wasn't the game like it?!?!?"
Unfortunately, the movie is probably going to fail. Even if the video game designers realize that movie adaptations usually fail, it doesn't matter one way or another if they're working with lionsgate on this: Lionsgate is going to turn the movie into whatever is selling at the time, regardless of what the "original vision" that the game developers have is. Same thing would happen with a Left 4 Dead movie. Just because people like the game doesn't mean a movie version would be good. |

The family is in the start of the game in the prologue or whats left of them. Im loving this game but i doubt the film could do it justice.
