I got mine out about three weeks ago (bottom sides). Swelling was almost gone until yesterday where I experienced a bit of discomfort on the left side, woke up and my left cheek is swollen. I know I'm not going to get a diagnosis but I was wondering if anyone else has had something similar to this? Should I be worried? I'm on edge simply because it has gone away and only started to swell today.
If anyone was given that syringe to squirt water into the mouth, I used that a few times daily. Thanks |

Never experienced anything like OP, doesn't sound like an infection. They don't swell over night, but I'm no doctor so I dunno. At least no infections I've had got swollen so bad overnight I was bothered by it. |

Man, that must suck. Luckily for me, my dentist said that my wisdom teeth fits perfectly in my mouth without interfering. I most likely will not have them pulled.

If it continues to worsen I would get it checked out soon. Infections that close to the brain are life threatening. I don't want to scare you; death is extremely rare but it is a possibility.
