Default Wisdom Teeth?

I got mine out about three weeks ago (bottom sides). Swelling was almost gone until yesterday where I experienced a bit of discomfort on the left side, woke up and my left cheek is swollen. I know I'm not going to get a diagnosis but I was wondering if anyone else has had something similar to this? Should I be worried? I'm on edge simply because it has gone away and only started to swell today.

If anyone was given that syringe to squirt water into the mouth, I used that a few times daily.

Thanks

It could be many things that caused it.

If the swelling doesn't go down soon then seek professional help.

Luckily my wisdom teeth fit so I never had them removed.

Thanks, I really hope it's not an infection, I do try to clean it 2-3 times a day. I could only wait I guess.

Yeh, my bottom ones grew like this: >^^^^^^^< so I had to get them removed. Still have my top ones though.

Never experienced anything like OP, doesn't sound like an infection. They don't swell over night, but I'm no doctor so I dunno. At least no infections I've had got swollen so bad overnight I was bothered by it.

Man, that must suck. Luckily for me, my dentist said that my wisdom teeth fits perfectly in my mouth without interfering. I most likely will not have them pulled.

Happened to me a few weeks ago, my swelling didn't go down until I got more medication. Your dentist will probably have to prescribe you some more antibiotics.

If it continues to worsen I would get it checked out soon. Infections that close to the brain are life threatening. I don't want to scare you; death is extremely rare but it is a possibility.
